Josh Hilberman - Tap 

A highly pedigreed performer who has appeared alongside most every hoofer of note, Joshua Hilberman received the 2005 National College Choreography Initiative award from the National Endowment for the Arts/Dance USA. In May, 2006 he received the "Premi Claqueta," Barcelona's International Tap Day Award, in recognition of his decade of contributions to tap in Catalunya.

Hilberman has been a featured soloist at New York's Lincoln Center and in jazz festivals from Australia to Barcelona and all over New England; was a principal dancer for three years in Manhattan Tap and has performed in Brenda Bufalino's Other Tap Dance Orchestra; teaches and performs at tap festivals including Tap City (NYC), Finland's Feet Beat, Vancouver, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, and annually at The North Carolina Rhythm Tap Festival and The Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival.

Josh collaborated on "Clara's Dream: A Jazz Nutcracker," celebrating six seasons as the Jazz Nut. He is also a collaborator in Thomas Marek's "About Tap," multi-media portraits of tap dancers, which plays for a third season in 2007 in Germany's prestigious modern dance center, Kampnagel.

In addition to a choreographic residency with the Canadian company Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, Hilberman has set works on groups in Germany, Holland, and Spain, and on four nationally recognized youth ensembles: The North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, Washington DC's Tappers with Attitude, the Jefferson Dancers (OR), and The Legacy Dancers(MA).

Josh developed his teaching chops at the prestigious Leon Collins Dance Studio, and has been a faculty member at Roger Williams and Mount Holyoke Universities as well as the Boston Conservatory of Music and Dance. Currently, Hilberman freelances internationally.

Dee Keri - Musical Theater 

Dee Keri - former Artistic Director of Keri Productions, Ltd. Dance, has thirty  years in the entertainment business as a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator. Some of her credits include, full-stage revues for Norwegian Caribbean Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, and Disney Magic Music Days, as well as night club revues, television, concerts and  industrials. Dee is currently choreographing productions of "Beauty and the Beast,"  "My Favorite Year," and "South Pacific" for three theatre companies.

 

Nikki Danizio - Modern, Lyrical 

Nicole Sell Danizio grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, where she started dancing at the local studio at the age of three. As a teen, she spent her summers studying dance at the Ballet/Aspen program in Colorado and at the Dupree Studios in Los Angeles. She completed her high school years at the Idyllwild School of Music and Performing Arts in California and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She then studied at The Boston Conservatory, earning a BFA in Dance and graduating Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian of her class. Ms. Danizio has performed regionally and internationally with Prometheus Dance, ACE Entertainment, Impulse, and Boston Dance Company, and has also danced a leading role in an industrial video for Spalding sports equipment and a TV commercial for W.B. Mason, for which she was also the choreographer. She is currently on faculty at the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, Boston Youth Moves, Walnut Hill School, and The Boston Conservatory.

 

Daniela Malta - Ballet 

 Daniela began her ballet training with Cecilia Moura in San Paulo.  She continued her studies at the Studio de Dancas with Ruth Rozenbaum, Larissa Arsujo, and Dennis Nevidommy (teachers of Boilshoi Ballet School, Brazil).  In 1998 she participated in the CBDD (Conselho Brasileiro de Danca) competition and received the judges honor.  In 1999 she won a second place prize at the Festival International of Salvador, Bahia, with a variation from Coppelia (Act 3).  In 2000 she won a scholarship at Tatiana Leskova School of Ballet, Rio de Janeiro, studied there for a year, and was a guest artist at the Festival of Nova Friburgo (RJ).

From 2001-2002 Daniela worked at the Studio de Dancas, both as a dancer and as a teacher of young children (ages 7-8), and also taught at the Project Pro-Crianca, Em Cena, for disadvantaged children.  In 2002 she won another scholarship, this time to the Escuela Mayor de Danza, where she trained for a year and then performed Swan Lake and Dom Quijote with the company Los Ballets de Madrid.

Since 2004 she has been performing with the Portland Ballet (Maine), where she had the opportunity to perform La Vivandiere with ABT Studio Company.  Currently she is furthering her training by attending classes and seminars at Portland Ballet and Boston Ballet, where she volunteered for the project City Dance. Recently Daniela has been accepted into the BFA Dance Program at The Boston Conservatory.  She has danced many variations from the classics, such as Le Corsaire,  Coppelia, Harlequinade, Dom Quijote, and Sleeping Beauty.
